Come on, who doesn’t love Mindy Kaling? I fell in love with her when I stumbled across The Mindy Project on Netflix one night. The first thing that crossed my mind during the first episode was “WHY HAVE I NOT HEARD OF THIS SHOW BEFORE NOW?” Long story short, I watched all the seasons up to date in a week.
I decided I would go buy her book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? — Mindy is genuine and down to earth person; who I would love to meet one day. Her book portrays her in such an inviting way and as a reader I did not want to put this book down. Mindy talks about her life growing up and how she is just like you or I. From her book, you can believe her when she says this because the stories she has will make you smile. Smile because you can relate to at least one of them in one way or another! Mindy talk about how to this day she still has her insecurities but she has learned to push through them, because if she hadn’t she wouldn’t have been where she is today. Today she is a confident comedian with so much going for her. Her personality is warming and funny.
Personally, Mindy Kaling is my favorite comedian out there!
